Grace Chorale of Brooklyn is a 135-member community chorus based in Brooklyn, New York. The Chorale is dedicated to promoting and cultivating the art of choral singing in Brooklyn through performing a wide variety of choral music, including newly commissioned works, via concerts, partnerships and outreach. The Chorale is also committed to building a diverse and inclusive choral community and champions works by historically underrepresented composers.
Announcing Our New Choral Director: Hannah Nacheman
We are delighted to welcome Hannah Nacheman as the new Choral Director of Grace Chorale of Brooklyn!
After an extensive search, we are excited to begin this new chapter under the leadership of a musician whose talent, energy, and passion for choral music truly stood out. Hannah brings a wealth of experience as a conductor, educator, and performer, with a proven track record of artistic excellence and community engagement.
She has previously served as Director of the Primo Coro ensemble of the New Jersey Youth Chorus and Assistant Conductor to the National Children's Chorus, and her work includes serving as a Teaching Artist for the VOCES8 Foundation and guest faculty for the Julliard School Preparatory Division.
Hannah’s vision for Grace Chorale includes a deep commitment to musical growth, creative programming, and strengthening the bonds between singers and our broader community. We are thrilled for the exciting opportunities and artistic direction she will bring to our ensemble.
