Hannah Nacheman, Music Director
HANNAH NACHEMAN is a conductor, vocalist, and educator based in New York City. A lifelong musician and arts advocate, Hannah has performed on many prestigious stages including Alice Tully Hall, David Geffen Hall, the David H. Koch Theater of Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, and Carnegie Hall.
In addition to her role as Music Director of Grace Chorale of Brooklyn, Hannah currently serves as Director of Mixed Chorus and Adjunct Professor at St. John's University, Assistant Conductor to The Choral Society at Grace Church in NY, and Teaching Artist for the VOCES8 Foundation. She is one of the co-creators of Girls Who Conduct, a mentorship program for young women and non-binary musicians, whose mission is to foster diversity and inclusion in classical music. Furthermore, she serves as Guest Faculty for the Juilliard School Preparatory Division and Manhattan School of Music Precollege. She has previously served as Resident Assistant Conductor for City Lyric Opera, Director of the Primo Coro ensemble of the New Jersey Youth Chorus and Assistant Conductor to the National Children's Chorus.
In addition to vocal performance, her musical training includes harp, piano, and violin, which she teaches in her private music studio in NYC, along with conducting and musicianship. Hannah holds music degrees from Bryn Mawr College and The Manhattan School of Music, with continued studies at The Juilliard School.
Hannah's specialized pedagogical work focuses on music and the brain– her research and applied experience, observing the positive effects of music on human behavior, enables her to provide individuals with a musical toolkit with which to better approach all aspects of their lives.

Ian Miller, Assistant Music Director
Ian Miller is a music director and collaborative pianist who enjoys working in a variety of theatrical, choral, dance and liturgical settings. A lifelong theater lover, Ian has music directed theatrical productions off-Broadway, regionally, and in the Juilliard Drama Division. He has also accompanied rehearsals for the Broadway productions of Wicked, West Side Story, and The Music Man, and played in the orchestra of the 2022 revival of Into the Woods.
Ian has been on faculty in the Juilliard Dance Division since 2021 as an assistant teacher of Voice for Dancers, and he regularly accompanies dance technique classes at institutions across the city. Since 2017, Ian has been the music director of AHRC’s “Our Broadway”, a musical theater program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in New York City.
Ian is especially passionate about vocal music and communal singing. He holds a degree in Music from Yale University, where he conducted the Shades of Yale and sang with the Yale Whiffenpoofs in 25 countries. He is the accompanist for Florilegium Chamber Choir, and he serves as a lead vocalist at the Church of the Epiphany in Manhattan. As a singer-songwriter, Ian has released two albums of original music, In Between and Threshold, available on all streaming platforms.
